Rosenberg’s Law: “Software is easy to make, except when you want it to do something new.”

Right from the Digg / Technology feed, an awesome parody of the popular Mac vs PC commercials: Ruby on Rails vs Java.
Absolutely funny
.
Have you ever noticed those – irritating and not real - crisp animations and insane GUIs populating any software in a hollywood movie? Of course you did
.
I spotted via //engtech a cute post @ Drivl.com about “what code DOESN’T do in real life (that it does in the movies)”
.
It’s amazing. Still laughing
.
This post @ //engtech is one of the funniest (geek humor) posts ever…
Have a look!
Yeah, this is a tech-oriented blog… I should not be posting prank calls! But… just listen up to this one.
I spotted it on an italian IT job newsgroup, and on this blog post too. Amazing! The little girl is awesome
. I like the irish accent a lot too.
I’m glad to see my blog reaching 5000 hits in less than 2 months of activity. I know it’s not much at all, and I hope to see hits going up day after day, but I’m happy to know a few thousands people went through my posts and thoughts.
After 2 months I can state with a reasonable confidence that blogging is addictive, blogging platform developers should warn users.
I don’t know if actually this file is old or the whole world already read it. However I just discovered it, and I laughed a lot, so I’m blogging about it
.
It’s absolute fun…here it follows the best excerpt in my opinion:
“I advise you to run up and look at the house my neighbor built last year, as we like it a great deal. It has many things that we feel we need in our new home, particularly the 75-foot swimming pool. With careful engineering, I believe you can design this into our new house without impacting the construction cost.”
Great comparison … still laughing
.
Here is the full text (pdf). Enjoy!
